Happy Hours School showcased the talent of every child of Primary Department.The School , realized its goal of holistic development by organizing the cultural extravaganza-SNEH SPARSH. Sneh Sparsh is a small gesture to say that all are together,all are same and all are one. People may be different but all should be same at heart filled with love for fellow human beings.Everyone should accept every individual with their unique ideas,thoughts and personality.The progrtamme started with an offering to the almighty followed by nature dance and folk dance.The entire programme was woven around the theme of care for a blind child. The students put up a musical skit showing the importance of being sensitive to the child with special needs. The event concluded with the item ‘haath se haath mila’All Children participated in it with full enthusiasm and vigour.Children performed for their parents which was an overwhelming experience for them. The school chairman Mr.B.R Kamrah was the chief guest for the day. He blessed everyone with his wishes for the young enthusiastic performers. The principal Dr.Sangeeta Bhatia offered a formal vote of thanks and appreciated children for their hardwork and diligence which was clearly visible in their performance.

EZ Vidya Workshop
In our pursuit to excellence and enhance the teaching learning process ‘Chrysalis’, an ICT Curriculum, is being introduced in the Pre Primary Section of Happy Hours School. Chrysalis nurtures 21st Century Skills and focuses on triggering critical, creative, analytical, reflective and societal thinking among students.
A Participatory Action Research done by teachers along with EZ Vidya has proved the effectiveness of Chrysalis in enhancing creative and critical thinking, reflection and developing ICT capabilities amongst all users. It will help the children blossom; provide them an environment where they can be nurtured to become thinkers, problem solvers, constant learners and decision makers.
A workshop was conducted by EZ Vidya on January 20, 2011 in the School for all members of the teaching staff. The objective of the workshop was to familiarize them with Chrysalis and to empower them to use this new tool. The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Bala Subramanium and Mr. Vishwanath.
It was an interactive workshop which involved a number of activities and power point presentation which focused on the development of physical, cognitive, socio- emotional and language & communication domain.
EZ Vidya will also provide the teachers with learning material to keep them abreast with the changes in the field of education.

Science Experiment (Classes I & II)
Students of classes I & II did experiments to understand properties of water .They tasted sweet, salty water to understand that water has no taste of its own but it takes the taste/color of things added to it . They mixed water colors in plain water to observe change in the color of water.
Mehndi designing & Quiz activity (Class II)
Students of class II traced their hands on paper and made mehndi designs on it.

Students of Class I participated in 'Design a book cover' activity in which they covered their notebooks with fluorescent sheets and then decorated them using stickers, thumb printing, dabbing with cotton, etc.
