Students of Class II participated in ‘Fancy Dress Competition'. The results are as follows:

My Piggy Bank (Class Prep)

Learning through experience is real fun for children. It enhances their thinking skills and helps them to comprehend the concept in a better and interesting way. The little ones of class Prep enjoyed painting earthen pots which further broadened their horizon of knowledge and inculcated the spirit of team work. Children enjoyed coloring their piggy banks with different colors & making various textures. Little ducklings tried to swim across the river overcoming the obstacles on the way.... like mixing colors, handling paint brushes etc.

Name of Activity : Design a table mat

Children of class I and II designed a table mat today. They did cotton printing, spray painting, thumb printing, used stencils, cut outs of flowers and leaves, pasted pulses, drawing and coloring fruits, vegetables, flowers etc and used decorative material like sequences, mirrors etc. on A4 sheet to decorate their mat. Children were also told the use of table mats. Each child used his/her own creativity to design it.

Inter school achievements

Poem Recitation Competition was organized for classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Prep on 10th December 2010 by Guru Tegh Bahadur School. Beautiful poems were selected on the given themes- animal kingdom, childhood, God's creation & if I were a girl.The budding talents of our school showcased their speaking skills by putting their heart & soul in poem recitation. The poem child labor & if I were a girl had a lasting impression on the minds of the audience & was appreciated by the judges also.

Friday Activity - Christmas Tree Decoration

To evoke the feeling of festivity and joy, Christmas activity was organized for children of Nursery and Pre-Nursery classes. Children decorated the cutouts of Christmas tree and bells beautifully using glitters and sequence. They were very excited and enthusiastic to see their decorated bells and Christmas tree.

Spray Painting Activity (Class I)

Students of class I participated in spray painting activity today. Students made floral designs, shapes, greeting cards using stencils colors and tooth brush on drawing sheets.
