Quiz for Class II

Students of classes II D and II E participated in the quiz. The quiz had following rounds:

• Visual round
• Buzzer round
• Rapid fire round
• Spellathon Round

4 teams participated in the quiz. Each child answered to the best of his/her ability and they were judged on the basis of knowledge, understanding, concept clarity and observation. The result of the quiz is as follows:

First Position - Jayant and Harsh (II D)
Second Position - Himanshi and Kashish (II E) & Harshit and Dishant (II E)

Vocabulary Building - Classes I & II

Different games and activities were taken up in classes I & II. Children participated with enthusiasm and enriched their word store. Following games were taken up:-

• Dart Game
• Word Power
• Word Ladder
• Making baby words from big words.

Christmas Celebrations

To inculcate the message of Love & Peace, Christmas was celebrated on December 24, 2010. Santa Claus came dressed in Red- the shade of energy & happiness. Amidst singing of Carols & jingling of bells, the scene depicting birth of Jesus Christ in a stable & the visit of the three wise men was enacted. Tiny tots visited the church & lit candles.

Pidilite Christmas Activity (class I & II)

Children of classes I & II participated in Pidilite Christmas Activity. Each child was given a cutout of Christmas tree/snow man/ bells, a golden sparkle tube and poster color pack. Children colored the cutout and decorated it with sparkle. Participation certificate was given to each child. Children enjoyed doing this activity.

Christmas tree decoration (classes I & II)

It's December and the only thing one associates with this month is Christmas. A time to meet and greet family, it is a popular festival around the world. Christmas is one of the biggest celebrations for the people belonging to the Christian faith but is celebrated all over the world with great fervor & enthusiasm. Students of classes I& II participated in ‘Christmas Tree decoration’ activity today. Students brought Christmas tree and decorative material like small gifts, bells, stars etc. to decorate it. They also decorated the tree with cotton to show snow.

Fold- O -Fold (Class I)

Students of Class I participated in 'Fold-o-Fold' activity. Each child was given an origami sheet to fold and make any one thing. Children folded origami sheet to make tree, hut, bird, flower, boat, kite etc.
